Sesio is a personal audio news briefing meant to be listened to with headphones. We collect your personal data to a minimal extent: creating an account is not required and the app works without signing in.

We do not ask for your device location. The only location information we use is the country estimated from your IP address, which requires no permission: the server asks a free geolocation service (listed below) using the IP the request comes from and uses only the country. No city or coordinate estimate is made and no coordinates are stored for it.
Country from IP (no permission required): if no location is available, the briefing language and country-level ordering are determined from an IP-based country estimate. This does not require any browser or phone permission. Language rule: if the country's language is supported, that language is used (Turkish, English, German, French); otherwise English. You can always change the language manually in Settings; a manual choice overrides the IP estimate.

Under the GDPR and the Turkish KVKK (Art. 11) you have the right to know whether your data is processed, to rectify it, to erase it, to object to processing and to data portability. You can delete your account without signing in here: news.yakorank.com/account/delete — in the app, Settings → Delete my account does the same.
